Abstract

Conventional personnel data management in educational settings often leads to various administrative issues, such as recording errors, data duplication, document loss, and delays in report generation. Similar issues were observed at SMK Nusantara 1 Kotabumi, where the management of staff information, attendance, leave, payroll, and reporting was conducted manually, rendering the process ineffective and inefficient. This study aimed to design, develop, implement, and test a web-based personnel information system tailored to the school's specific needs. The system development process encompassed requirements gathering, interface and database design analysis, implementation, and functional testing using the Black Box Testing method. The results demonstrate that the developed web-based personnel information system successfully integrates all personnel administration processes into a single hosting platform with high accuracy. Implementation of the system has proven capable of streamlining administrative workflows, minimizing potential data entry errors, and facilitating the generation of real-time personnel reports. In conclusion, the system is suitable for supporting the school's digital transformation and enhancing the quality of personnel administration management at SMK Nusantara 1 Kotabumi in an effective and efficient manner.
